Thank you for your comments. This is also what happened to me, luckily with assistance by a great McKenzie friend and a decent CAFCASS officer I got to see my child after 6 months, but even so the damage was already done by then and I’m still battling three years on.

This separation is then deftly used – and here is the deadly sleight of hand – further to separate the father, because ‘it would upset the status quo to reinstate him’. Is Mr Cameron is not aware of this standard procedure?

I did too, once – seventy-two court hearings ago, before all contact with my four children was stopped, before I was forbidden to contact my children’s schools or to make any further applications to the court. I have no idea whether or not my children are well. Am I some sort of dangerous monster? Not according to twenty-six glowingly supportive statements by my friends – every one of them ignored. It is difficult to believe that this bias (confirmed by a previous President of the Law Society) is SO INSTITUTIONALISED. Cameron is obviously scared to take on the courts and imagines that he will lose the female vote. Someone should tell him that millions of women also support the fathers’ cause.
