Spend quality time with her because that will help you be in good relationship with her. If you are in good relationship with her, you will be better abe to discipline her. Get some parenting classes so you don’t ruin your relationship using rewards and punishments to discipline her. Punishments like time outs and spankings, scolds will only make you the bad guy. She will fight you and things will get worse. Especially because your not her mother. Go the Love and Logic Way by Jim Fay or the Loving Guidance way by Dr. Becky Bailey. I am a preschool teacher and I can tell you we don’t use time out to guide. We give choices and set up firm limits with consequences or natural concequences. Se see the best in every child despite the behavior. There is always a reason the child is acting out and doesn’t know any better so the best way to handle it is to problem solve and tell them what to do instead. You have to inform yourself and look at how you were disciplined. Becasue you will probobly discipline the way your parents disciplined you even if you don’t like it, your mothers voice will come out of you in times of stess and frustration. You are already wired and conditioned to parent a certain way. If its not working for you or making things worse, you need to learn a different way to parent. You have to litterally be aware of your self and how yo talk to yourself and others. Easy to love difficult to discipline by Dr. Becky Bailey is one of the best books on parenting! She has changed my life for the better. She has lot of good information on CD. Good luck and wish you well.

I have read David Norgrove’s views and In my humble opinion I have never read so much rubbish in all my life this person is clearly a charlaton if he does not understand that two parents are better than one and having the blessing of a fathers being in a childs life is a life time benefit for the child.

I personally think that David Norgrove is the largest cretinous idiotic imbecile moron and psychologically deficient person in the solar system if he thinks that fathers should not have the same rights as mothers. He needs to go back to school wake up and realise that this is the twenty first century and we are no longer living in the sixties and seventies which is clearly the mindless backward mindset he has.

I am a single father and I see my son every weekend without fail my son is the only person in the world that makes my life worth living for and I would do anything for him.

David Norgrove is a priviliged pompus ridiculous half witted pip squeek with no brain cells who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and is completely out of touch from today’s reality.
